Mt. Moriah Christian Academy has been in existence for over 40 years. It was founded under the direction of Dr. Jerry B. West. The Academy began in a small room of Mt. Moriah Church of God In Christ as a daycare but has grown, by the grace of God, to become an academy serving Grades Pre-k through the 12th Grade and now teaching a Classical Christian Education.

Though this school is one of excellence, its tuition remains affordable because of its mission to transform the community by reinforcing Godly principles in the leaders of tomorrow. Mt. Moriah’s impact upon the Borough of Brooklyn has been immense. Many children have become a part of the Mt. Moriah family over its 40 years and have gone onto become Doctors, Lawyers, Entrepreneurs, and all-around productive members of society. These great men and women of God all credit their success to the educational, spiritual, and moral foundations of their Mt. Moriah Christian Academy experience.
