Mt. Moriah Christian Academy’s High School is focused on Entrepreneurship. We have a 4 Year Program. It’s schedule is as follows:

 

1st Year – Core Subjects/ PSAT Prep/ Computer Applications

First year students will focus on a Classical Christian Education, consisting of Latin Studies; Traditional Logic I; Classical Composition I; Physical Science; Algebra I; American History I; Literature I;and The History of Christianity. Computer applications teaches students to uses Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Students Take the PSAT8/9.

 

2nd Year – Core Subjects/PSAT Prep/ Introduction to Business (Incubator edu) and AP Courses

Second year students will focus on a Classical Christian Education, consisting of Early Church History; Classical Literature II; Classical Composition II; Tradition Logic II; Algebra II; American History II; Modern Biology; and Latin Studies II. Students learn business structure and culture. They will create business plan and pitch. Students take PSAT 10. Additionally AP Classes will be available.

 

3rd Year – Core Subjects/ AP Courses/ SAT Prep/ Enterprise Development

Third year students will focus on a Classical Christian Education, consisting of History of Europe; Classical Composition III; General Chemistry; Classical Rhetoric; Classical Literature III; and Geometry. Students will take PSAT/NMSQT and the SAT. Each student will be assigned a position in real company and will execute the Business Plan developed in the prior year.

 

4th Year – AP Courses/ Enterprise Development/Internships

In the final year, student will focus on Classical Courses such as the History of Europe II; Classical Composition IV; Poetry II; Material Logic; and Introductory Physics. Students will work internships in businesses to learn how there project company measured up in real world application. College advisor will be available.
